Details Work in the Med/Surg Tele unit of a short-term acute care, Level III trauma center and teaching hospital Patient ratios of 1:5-6 13-week assignment on night shift (4x12 hours, 7:00 PM-7:00 AM) Required to work every other weekend No on-call responsibilities Floating required within scope to like units, including hospital or sister campus depending on booking Uses Epic EMR Requirements Active RN license (NC or compact) currently in hand, pending license not accepted Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS Minimum 2 years of MS/Tele nursing experience required Epic EMR experience required Must pass an Advanced EKG exam as part of compliance SSN and DOB required for consideration At least 1 supervisor reference required Additional Information Provide nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients in a Level III trauma teaching hospital setting Scrub color requirement: royal blue and white Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the main campus to be considered for travel positions RTO is limited to a maximum of 4 days and only 1 holiday can be approved, per manager's discretion Non-billable orientation modules (4-10 hours) must be completed prior to start Contract extensions limited to twice for night shift; after reaching the limit, a 6-month break is required before reapplying as a traveler Previous travelers or staff must have been separated for at least 1 year to return in a travel role First-time travelers are welcome to apply American Traveler Job ID P-741480.
