Mechanical Assembler

LOCATION: Pueblo, CO

SHIFT & COMPENSATION:

• Day Shift: 6am - 6pm (2-2-3 schedule)- $20/hr
• Night Shift: 6pm - 6am (2-2-3 schedule)- $22/hr
• Example of 2-2-3 schedule:
  • You work 2 days , then have 2 days off
  • Then you work 3 days , then have 2 days off
  • The pattern repeats every 2 weeks
  • Must be willing to work every other weekend

SUMMARY

This position is responsible for assembly of all internal parts of wind turbine towers. Equipment and processes include pneumatic hand tools, small hand tools for the assembly and installation of platforms, ladders, and lighting fixtures.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assemble components according to instructions, drawings and quality requirements.
• Perform product quality inspections and make corrections as required.
• Operate material handling equipment, fork trucks, bogies, etc.
• Ensure that safety and environmental requirements are followed.
• Replenish assembly parts.
• Perform daily maintenance inspections on equipment and correct minor issues.

EDUCATION and/or MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or GED
• 1 year experience in heavy fabrication, assembly, construction, or other related field.
• Must be able to read and interpret production drawings and technical work instructions.
• Able to speak, read and understand English.
• Basic math

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pueblo, CO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
