About the Position

Job Title: Pharmacist Inpatient Profession: Pharmacy Specialty: Pharmacist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (06:00 - 14:00) Experience: Minimum 2 years License: PA state license required Certifications: EPIC Beacon experience required Must-Have: Inpatient or outpatient oncology experience IV trained and hazardous and non-hazardous medication preparations Description: Travelers will be expected to work 2 of 3 upcoming major holidays. These holidays include Thanksgiving Day/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day. If the contract falls over only 2 of these holidays, the traveler will be expected to work 1 of the 2 holidays. It is advised not to request more than 1 holiday off. The schedule requires 40 hours per week with shifts between 6 AM and 7 PM. Every 3rd or 4th Saturday, there will be a shift from 8 AM to 4:30 PM. Candidates will be reviewed by clinical staff to determine clinical fit. If the candidate passes the clinical screen, they will be sent to the manager for a final decision. The manager will conduct an interview. Candidates will be responsible for the care of COVID patients. The facility is tobacco and fragrance-free. Applicants must notify prior to submission. Candidate must have experience in chemotherapy and clinical dosing. Additional skills required include compounding, geriatric dosing, pediatric dosing, and pharmacokinetic dosing. The candidate will also have experience with sterile technique and IV medication administration. Local candidates may be considered. It is important to minimize RTO to 7 days maximum. All pharmacists are required by law to hold a PA license to work in Pennsylvania. Candidates must be knowledgeable about pharmacy operations and patient care.
