This is an excellent opportunity to join a professional team focused on delivering high-quality repair and maintenance services.Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday PayTeladoc (online care)Referral Bonus IncentiveWeekly Pay401kAnd More!Trailer Mechanic Details:Temporary position$ 21.00 / hourFull Time work availableFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 03:30pm)Perform repairs, refurbishments, and retrofit modifications on trailer bodies and truck boxes.Diagnose structural, mechanical, and cosmetic damage using hand and power tools.Complete welding, fabrication, carpentry, and component replacement projects to restore equipment to operating condition.Inspect trailers for safety and quality standards, ensuring all repairs meet customer and company requirements.Maintain a clean and organized work area while accurately documenting completed repair and maintenance work.Trailer Mechanic Qualifications:Previous experience as a Trailer Mechanic or in a similar role involving welding, carpentry, fabrication, and structural repairs.Ability to diagnose equipment issues and safely use hand tools, power tools, and repair equipment.Valid driver's license required. High School Diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training is preferred.Must be able to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen (excluding THC).A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
