*Position Overview:*We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Oral Surgeon to join our team at Twin Cities Children's Surgery Center in Maplewood, MN. This role involves performing a variety of oral surgical procedures with an emphasis on pediatric patients under sedation. The ideal candidate will have experience in the pediatric dental space and a commitment to providing the highest standard of care in an outpatient surgical setting.

*Responsibilities:*

* Perform oral and maxillofacial surgery procedures including extractions, dental implants, corrective jaw surgery, and treatment of facial injuries and infections, primarily in pediatric patients.
* Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of dental professionals and anesthesiologists to ensure a safe and positive experience for patients.
* Manage sedation and anesthesia protocols in compliance with best practices and safety standards.
* Provide pre-operative consultations and post-operative care to patients and their families.
* Maintain accurate patient records and ensure adherence to all relevant health and safety regulations.
* Foster a compassionate, professional, and patient-centric environment.

*Qualifications:*

* DMD or DDS degree from an accredited institution.
* Completion of an accredited oral and maxillofacial surgery residency program.
* Board Certified or Board Eligible in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
* Experience with pediatric sedation dentistry required.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
* Active state licensure in Michigan and other necessary certifications (e.g., ACLS, BLS).
* Passion for providing excellent care to pediatric patients.
