About the Position

Job Opportunity – Neonatal ICU Registered Nurse (NICU RN) – Western North Carolina

Start Date: July 13, 2026

Location: Asheville, North Carolina

Schedule: 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends (every other weekend); day and night shifts available

• 51-bed Level III Neonatal ICU serving as the regional referral center for western North Carolina
• Patient ratios of 1:1, 1:2, 1:3, or 1:4 depending on acuity level

• Opportunity to float to Pediatrics, PICU, or Mother Baby units (babies only)

Requirements:

• Active North Carolina RN license or ability to obtain
• Minimum 2 years of Level III or higher NICU experience strongly preferred
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
• Neonatal Intensive Care (NIC-RNC) certification preferred
• Stable NICU certification preferred
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage complex patient care situations
