Performs installation, removal, termination and testing of electrical cables related to computer room raised-floor equipment. Performs other general electrical maintenance installation-related duties as required. Installs/removes electrical cables, determines proper cable routing/termination and installs connections. Installs cable tray, installs branch circuits in a Raised-Floor environment. Installs conduit/cables for general site-related electrical applications. Performs a variety of electrical trade functions such as the installation, maintenance, or repair of equipment for the distribution, or utilization of electric energy. Work involves most of the following: installing or repairing any of a variety of electrical equipment, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, conduit systems, or other transmission equipment; working from schematics, blueprints, drawings, layouts, or other specifications, locating and diagnosing trouble in the electrical system or equipment, working standard computations relating to load requirements of wiring or electrical equipment, and using a variety of electrician's hand tools and measuring and testing instruments. Performs other general maintenance-related duties such as:participate in design reviews,complete required work and safety permits,perform small job take-offscoordinate team’s participation in site maintenance eventsparticipate in various customer meetingsprovide customer guidance on site installation requirementsOther duties as assigned#IntelBasic Job RequirementsAccredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and five (5) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to nine (9) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirementsAbility to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitorsJob related technical knowledge necessary to complete the jobAbility to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelinesAbility to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective mannerOther Job RequirementsMust have an active (or ability to obtain and maintain) TS/SCI with CI Polygraph.Must hold an US Electrical License issued by a State.
