Registered Nurse (RN) SupervisorPolaris Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dynamic and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to join our team! As an RN Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to our residents while leading and mentoring our nursing team. Part time status is 2 shifts a week minimumBenefits:Health InsuranceDental & Vision InsuranceLife InsurancePaid Time Off401KSalary: $40 - $42 HOURLY (negotiable)Essential Functions:Promote regulatory compliance through demonstrating working knowledge of long-term care regulations and participating in efforts towards consistent survey readinessAssist the nursing team in providing resident care when professional nursing skills/judgment is neededContinually supervise and evaluate resident care throughout the shiftEnsure any staffing changes are in alignment with budgeted staffing plan and address any staffing concerns as they ariseIdentify learning needs of staff and participate in educational opportunities in collaboration with the Staff Development Coordinator and nursing leadersProvide mentoring and coaching to staff when neededRound on each nursing unit and respond to issues as needed/requestedDemonstrate effective communication skills and positive service excellence behaviors when dealing with all customersResponsible for interacting directly with residents' families to answer their questions and ease their concernsEnsure and/or assist with transcribing all doctor orders timely and accuratelyOversees and/or assists with administering IVs and other medicationsAssist with or complete admissions/discharging of the residentsEnsure safety of residents, customers and facility through awareness of and conscientious application of policies and procedures and emergency responsesQualifications:2-3 years of previous Registered RN Supervisor experience recommendedCurrent Delaware RN licenseKnowledge of Point Click Care (PCC) nursing documentation program preferredIf you are a dedicated and compassionate nursing professional looking for a new challenge, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding opportunity.
