Remote Licensed Mental Health Counselor - LCSW/LMFT/LPC
Peace Marriage and Family Therapy Services
Job Description
Position Overview\n
Peace Marriage and Family Therapy Services is seeking a dedicated and passionate Remote Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team. As a licensed therapist (LCSW, LMFT, LPC), you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the mental health and well-being of clients through virtual therapy sessions. This full-time position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting while ensuring that you can devote your time and expertise to care for clients.
About the Organization\nAt Peace Marriage and Family Therapy Services, we are committed to providing high-quality mental health care and support to individuals, couples, and families. Our community health clinic is focused on fostering growth, resilience, and healing in a safe and inclusive environment. We believe in the power of therapy to transform lives, and we aim to ensure that our services are accessible to everyone in our community and beyond.
Work Environment\nThis is a 100% remote position meaning that you will work from the comfort of your own home, managing your own schedule without the requirement of on-call availability. Utilizing telehealth techniques, you will conduct therapy sessions through video conferencing, ensuring that you can reach clients across various locations. We foster a supportive and collaborative work culture that prioritizes employee wellbeing, ensuring you have the resources and tools needed to deliver exceptional care.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct comprehensive virtual assessments and screenings with clients to evaluate their mental health status and substance abuse history accurately. \n
- Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to client needs. \n
- Educate and empower clients’ families, promoting their involvement in the recovery process through informative support sessions. \n
- Collaborate closely with the treatment team, including other mental health professionals, to develop and implement integrated care plans that address the specific needs of each client. \n
- Maintain detailed and accurate client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, documenting progress, treatment plans, and outcomes effectively. \n
The patients you will work with have been pre-screened and identified as stable with low acuity issues. This means you will primarily be addressing the needs of clients who are looking for support in maintaining their mental wellness rather than crisis intervention. Our focus on preventive care allows you to build long-term therapeutic relationships while using your expertise to enrich the lives of individuals and families seeking guidance.
Qualifications\n- \n
- Must possess an active Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution. \n
- Must hold current licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Oregon. \n
- Demonstrated commitment to ethical practice and maintaining client confidentiality in all interactions. \n
- \n
- A minimum of two years' experience providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, with a strong emphasis on telehealth therapy. \n
- Experience specializing in counseling adolescents and young adults, leveraging engaging techniques to connect with younger populations. \n
- Proficient use of technology, including electronic health record systems (EHRs), video conferencing tools, and the Google suite. \n
- Ability and willingness to engage in ongoing training and development in our evidence-based frameworks for treatment, referred to as our care pathways. \n
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively document and communicate with clients and team members. \n
This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $105,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance options, a retirement plan, paid time off, and personalized health insurance plan recommendations through a partnership with Stride Health. We value our employees and provide the resources necessary to promote wellness and work-life balance.
Career Growth Opportunities\nAt Peace Marriage and Family Therapy Services, we are committed to your professional development. You will have access to ongoing training, workshops, and continuing education opportunities to enhance your skills and further your career in the mental health field. We encourage team members to participate in leadership training and mentorship programs to facilitate personal and professional growth.
Why Join Our Team\nBecoming a part of our team means engaging in meaningful work that positively impacts the lives of individuals, couples, and families struggling with mental health challenges. We value diversity and believe that different perspectives bolster our problem-solving capabilities. Your contributions will help us create a more inclusive and effective therapy environment. If you are passionate about mental health and ready to make a difference, we encourage you to apply.
Application Information\nIf you are ready to take the next step in your career and be part of a mission-driven team, we invite you to submit your application. Please include your resume and a cover letter detailing your experience and motivation for working with us. We look forward to welcoming an enthusiastic mental health professional into our supportive community.
