You’ll play a key role in keeping the clinic running smoothly and ensuring every patient feels comfortable and well cared for. What You’ll Do Reporting to the Dental Practice Manager, you’ll handle a range of clinical and administrative tasks that keep our dental operations running efficiently. Set up dental procedures and prepare treatment rooms for each patient. Provide hands‑on assistance to the dentist during procedures. Take clear, diagnostic‑quality x‑ray films. Capture accurate alginate impressions. Sterilize dental instruments and maintain infection‑control standards. Record patient vitals and chief complaints in the chart. Document clinical notes and treatment plans accurately. Communicate with patients in a warm, professional manner to ensure comfort throughout their visit. What We’re Looking For You’re someone who takes pride in delivering great patient care and stays calm in a busy clinical setting. You bring strong attention to detail and a genuine commitment to helping others. High school diploma or equivalent. X‑Ray Certification (or ability to complete within 6 months of hire). BLS Certification (or ability to complete within 6 months of hire). Comfortable using computers for charting and documentation. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Previous dental assistant experience is a plus — candidates who don’t meet every preferred qualification are encouraged to apply. Schedule & Locations This is a full‑time Dental Assistant position available at our Thundermist Health Center locations in Woonsocket, West Warwick, and South County. Our dental clinics operate Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Your schedule may include rotating evenings based on department needs.
