Registered Nurse - NICU

Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse

Provide specialized nursing care to neonatal patients in a hospital setting within the NICU. Monitor critically ill infants, implement treatment plans, and collaborate with medical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess the condition of neonatal patients and update care plans accordingly.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor vital signs and recognize signs of deterioration or complications.
• Educate families on care procedures and discharge instructions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities and outcomes.
• Adhere to hospital policies and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license and current BLS certification.
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in neonatal intensive care.
• Ability to perform complex assessments and troubleshooting.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts including nights.
• Experience with NRP is required.
