Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring strong MS/Tele and Neuro skills with Epic EMR experience.

Details

• Med/Surg Telemetry (MS/Tele) unit in a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (7:00–19:30)
• 36 hours per week
• 13 or 26 week contract options available
• Floating to other units and/or campuses within the health system may be required based on census needs; travelers will only float to units for which they are qualified and competencies are documented

Requirements

• Active SC or compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 1 year of recent MS/Tele unit experience required
• Strong Neuro skills required
• Minimum 1 year of Epic EMR experience required
• Social Security Number and Driver's License required for consideration
• Two professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from all Prisma Health facilities to be eligible for this travel position at the standard rate
• Candidates residing between 90–99.9 miles from any Prisma Health facility may be considered at a reduced rate
• For day shift MS/Tele positions, the standard 100-mile system-wide rule applies; the 50-mile exception applies to night shift only for this unit type
