CNA - FT

Job Purpose:
- The purpose of this position is to provide compassionate and professional care to residents at Eunice Manor Nursing Home as a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). The role requires a dedicated individual who is committed to enhancing the quality of life for residents in a long-term care setting.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality personal care and assistance with daily living activities to residents in accordance with their individual care plans.
- Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive and continuous care for residents.
- Maintain a positive and supportive attitude, fostering a warm and welcoming environment for residents and their families.
- Monitor and report any changes in residents' health status to the nursing staff promptly.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment for residents and staff.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices in geriatric care.
- Uphold the standards and policies of Eunice Manor Nursing Home to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

Required Education:
- Valid CNA Certification in Louisiana

Required Experience:
- Experience working as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in a healthcare setting
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team

Preferred Experience:
- 1+ year of experience in a skilled nursing facility, long-term care, or geriatric care environment

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude and demonstrate professionalism in all interactions
