Plasma Center Technician

About the Role Every day, the donors you meet will motivate you and the high-quality plasma you collect will become life-changing medicines. A commitment to customer service and quality is expected. You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and perform as a plasma donor screener and conduct phlebotomy to support plasma center operations. Responsibilities Answer phones and greet donors, ensuring donor and team safety. Screen new and repeat donors, take and record vital signs and finger-stick results. Use the Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain accurate records, and coordinate donor compensation. Identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement and initiate changes to center processes using company-approved procedures. Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift. Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees. Ability to lift up to 5 lbs., with occasional lifting of up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs. Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance. Because of potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens (risk level 1), 90% of work tasks require prolonged glove wear. One or more years minimum experience in a customer or patient-facing role (helpful). Compensation & Location Location: USA - NV - Henderson Hourly Wage: $16.00 U.S. based employees may also be eligible for short-term incentives, medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, short- and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, well-being benefits, up to 80 hours of sick time, and up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
