Real-Time Software Engineer

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Real-Time Software Engineer

Position type: Full-time, Contract  
Duration: 12 Months with possible extension
Location: Oklahoma City, OK-Hybrid

As a Real-Time Software Engineer, you will:

Position Responsibilities:
• Design, develop and test software components and functions
• Support development of software functional requirements
• Support software architecture trades and revise existing architecture to meet new functions
• Specify internal and external software interfaces
• Conduct software test driven development
• Conduct and support peer reviews on all software life cycle data
• Contribute to the success of an Agile development team
• Support sprint planning and meet sprint commitments

Required Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
• Bachelor's of Science degree or higher in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
• 5+ years of recent experience with embedded (real-time) software development.
• Proficient in ‘Ada’ programming language with 5+ years of experience.
• 3+ years of recent experience with Agile development practices.
•Ability to obtain Secret US Security clearance (Post-Start).
• Previous technical experience in an aerospace/defense environment.
• Proficiency in design and implementation of multi-threaded real-time applications.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*:  $75/hr to $80/hr
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
