BrightStar Care of St. Simons Island, GA is looking for dedicated Overnight Caregivers to join our team. At BrightStar Care, we provide compassionate, in-home care for seniors and adults who need assistance with daily activities, companionship, and a helping hand in their homes.

• Flexible shifts, including weekends and evenings, in both home and facility settings
• Varied assignments, including a range of procedures and treatments

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with personal care needs such as bathing, dressing, mobility, and transfers
• Accompany clients to grocery stores, doctor’s appointments, and pharmacy visits
• Support clients with mobility exercises as outlined in their care plan, and document changes to the Director of Nursing

Requirements:

• CNA or PCA certification (don’t have one? We can help you get certified!)
• At least 1 year of experience as a caregiver
• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of one year of documented caregiver or home care assistance experience
• CPR certification and a negative TB skin test or chest X-ray
• Valid driver’s license, insured, and reliable vehicle with proof of insurance
• Ability to maintain client confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to read, write, and speak English
• Physical ability to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push, and pull, with the capacity to lift up to 50 pounds

Preferred Experience:

• Caregiver, CNA, Personal Care Aide/Assistant, or similar roles

This position is based at our St. Simons Island office at 1700 Frederica Rd Suite 107, St. Simons Island, GA 31522 , serving St. Simons Island and the surrounding areas. Travel to these areas may be required.
