This role sits within the Operations function at one of the company's US manufacturing sites

Onsite role based in Monroe, NC

Why This Role Is Important

Delivery performance, cost control, and regulatory compliance in this function directly affect customer satisfaction company wide
This person owns compliance in an area with real regulatory exposure if not managed well
International trade and customs matters sit squarely with this role, making it a high accountability seat
The company needs someone who can set strategy and also step in operationally, since the role carries both leadership and hands on responsibility

Background That Fits

Several years of logistics management experience in a manufacturing and international environment
Experience with shipping hazardous materials a plus, will provide certification!
Experience owning compliance programs tied to regulated shipments
Experience with an ERP System (NetSuite a plus)
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
Comfortable operating in a fast paced, hands on environment while also thinking analytically about cost and process improvement
