- A global manufacturer, with operations and research spanning multiple countries
- This role sits within the Operations function at one of the company's US manufacturing sites
- The business is built around technical precision, with strong internal collaboration between operations, customer service, quality, and production
- A stable, established organization with a long track record in its space rather than an early stage or unproven company
- Full ownership of logistics for an international manufacturing environment
- Influence over compliance, freight strategy, and external logistics partnerships
- Visibility into decisions that affect cost, quality, and delivery performance across the business
- A role that combines strategic ownership with hands on execution when needed
- Exposure to senior leaders across supply chain, customer service, finance, and operations
- The chance to build and shape a compliance program rather than inherit one that's already fixed
- Onsite role based in Monroe, NC
- Delivery performance, cost control, and regulatory compliance in this function directly affect customer satisfaction company wide
- This person owns compliance in an area with real regulatory exposure if not managed well
- International trade and customs matters sit squarely with this role, making it a high accountability seat
- The company needs someone who can set strategy and also step in operationally, since the role carries both leadership and hands on responsibility
- Several years of logistics management experience in a manufacturing and international environment
- Experience with shipping hazardous materials a plus, will provide certification!
- Experience owning compliance programs tied to regulated shipments
- Experience with an ERP System (NetSuite a plus)
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Comfortable operating in a fast paced, hands on environment while also thinking analytically about cost and process improvement
