Clinical Consultant- Wound Care

8000 Castleway Drive Indianapolis, IN 46250, USA Description What You’ll Do In this role, you’ll be the clinical expert and trusted partner in the field, helping drive adoption of innovative wound care solutions: Build Trusted Relationships – Develop and maintain strong partnerships with wound care clinicians, physicians, WOC nurses, case managers, and key decision-makers across your territory Drive Product Adoption – Support product trials, evaluations, and conversions by demonstrating clinical value and improved patient outcomes Educate and Influence – Deliver engaging in-services and hands‑on training to clinical teams on wound care products and best practices Act as a Clinical Expert – Provide guidance on wound assessment, treatment planning, and appropriate product selection Support Sales Growth – Partner with the sales team to advance deals and build clinical relationships with clients Support Formulary & Access – Assist in influencing formulary decisions by communicating clinical and economic value Deliver Exceptional Customer Experience – Ensure customers feel supported, confident, and successful with our products Gather Market Insights – Share feedback, competitive intelligence, and customer needs with internal teams Travel As Needed – Engage with customers in hospitals, long‑term care facilities, outpatient clinics, and other care settings Compliance: Ensure all policies, procedures, and practices align with federal and state regulations. What We’re Looking For Education & Experience Active clinical license (RN, NP, CNS, or related license) Bachelor's degree in nursing or related healthcare field 10+ years of wound care or related clinical experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience demonstrating proficiency in wound management Demonstrated experience in wound assessment and treatment, including Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT), required Wound Care Certification (e.g., WOCN, CWS, WCC, CWON) preferred Experience in clinical education, training, or customer support preferred Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as required Ability to build trust and influence clinical decision‑making Experience in hospital or nursing home management is a plus What Makes You Successful in This Role You are relationship‑driven and naturally build trust with clinicians and decision‑makers You are confident in your clinical knowledge and comfortable educating others You enjoy being out in the field, engaging with customers and solving real problems You have a consultative mindset—you listen first, then recommend solutions You are motivated by impact, outcomes, and results You bring energy, professionalism, and a sense of urgency to everything you do Why Join Us?
