Job Title: Distribution Associate 1st Shift Job Description

Join a growing distribution team in a stable, production-based environment on 1st shift. As a Distribution Associate, you play a key role in processing, packing, and shipping products to meet customer needs and quality standards, while supporting efficient warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders accurately and in a timely manner.

• Audit orders to ensure completeness, accuracy, and adherence to customer requirements.

• Process and audit company products so they are configured to fit specific customer needs.

• Pack products securely and efficiently for shipment, following established packing procedures.

• Prepare and ship orders to designated customer locations using appropriate shipping methods.

• Inspect products to confirm they meet customer specifications and quality standards.

• Sort and count parts to maintain accurate inventory records.

• Collect cardboard and other packing materials and place them into the compactor for disposal or recycling.

• Support shipping and receiving activities, including loading, unloading, and staging products.

• Assist with inventory tasks such as counting, labeling, and organizing stock.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Essential Skills

• Prior experience working in a warehouse environment.

• Hands-on experience with order picking.

• Proficiency in packing products for shipment.

• Experience with shipping processes and procedures.

• Experience with receiving incoming goods.

• Inventory experience, including counting and tracking stock.

• Ability to accurately sort and count parts.

• Ability to label products and materials correctly.

• Attention to detail when auditing orders and inspecting products.

• Capability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, production-based environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Comfort working with shipping, receiving, and inventory systems.

• Ability to follow established warehouse procedures and quality standards.

• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple orders and tasks.

• Reliability and consistency in meeting production and shipping goals.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
