Job Details

This role requires a professional with a strong background in HVAC duct systems, fabrication techniques, and installation standards. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with heavy materials, at heights, and performing physically demanding tasks. Responsibilities:

1. Utilize your strong knowledge of HVAC duct systems, fabrication techniques, and installation standards to provide top-quality workmanship on all projects.
2. Read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings to determine the location of HVAC ductwork placement.
3. Assemble HVAC ductwork pieces for installation at the job site as necessary.
4. Place hangers and supports for HVAC duct efficiently and accurately.
5. Use sheet metal tools such as snips, brakes, plasma cutters, drills, etc., to perform tasks effectively.
6. Lift heavy materials, work at heights, and perform physically demanding tasks in a safe and controlled manner.
7. Install commercial HVAC ductwork, including rectangular, spiral, round, and specialty metal systems.
8. Fabricate sheet metal components using shears, brakes, and other fabrication tools as needed.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, demonstrating a solid understanding of HVAC duct systems, fabrication techniques, and installation standards.
2. Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings.
3. Experience with assembling HVAC ductwork pieces for installation at job sites.
4. Proficiency with sheet metal tools such as snips, brakes, plasma cutters, drills, etc.
5. Physical strength and stamina to lift heavy materials, work at heights, and perform physically demanding tasks.
6. Experience with the installation of commercial HVAC ductwork, including rectangular, spiral, round, and specialty metal systems.
7. Proven ability to fabricate sheet metal components using shears, brakes, and other fabrication tools.
8. Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a commitment to safety and quality.
9. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
