Job Description

Job Summary:

Provide specialized occupational therapy services to inpatient clients, focusing on restoring and enhancing daily functional abilities. Collaborate with medical teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans, ensuring high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans based on medical diagnoses and functional goals.
• Execute therapeutic interventions to improve motor skills, cognitive function, and self-care abilities.
• Monitor and document patient progress accurately using electronic health records.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Manage a diverse caseload, including ventilated patients and those requiring co-treatments.
• Adapt therapy approaches as needed to accommodate acuity levels and clinical conditions.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current occupational therapy license in Arizona.
• Possess at least one year of relevant clinical experience.
• Demonstrate confidence with medical diagnoses and patient management.
• Be willing to work a Sunday-Thursday schedule, including weekends.
• Maintain BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• Able to obtain and maintain fingerprint clearance card and AZ OT license, with an understanding of processing times.
