Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Neuro care. The ideal candidate will have strong medical-surgical experience and be familiar with step-down nursing practices. This role requires working with neuro patients, necessitating a solid understanding of neurological assessments and interventions.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care to neuro patients, administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Conduct thorough neurological assessments and document findings accurately.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
• Utilize EPIC for documentation and patient management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Neuro nursing or a related specialty.
• Active RN license with Nursys verification.
• Current NIHSS certification and ACLS certification are required.
• Strong background in medical-surgical nursing and step-down care.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records system is a must.
