Sales Representative - Industrial Tooling
Location: Skokie, IL
Compensation: $50,000–$70,000 base + commission ($100K – 150K total comp expected)

What You’ll Be Doing

• Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities across manufacturing, fabrication, and industrial sectors
• Build and maintain relationships with existing accounts while actively developing new ones
• Understand customer machines, materials, and tooling needs to recommend the right solutions
• Manage your own pipeline, follow up consistently, and close with urgency
• Represent the company at trade shows, customer sites, and industry events
• Work closely with shop leadership to align customer requirements with production capabilities
• Track activity, report on pipeline progress, and hit agreed-upon KPIs
• Bring feedback from the field back to the team to help shape product and service offerings

What You Bring

• Background in industrial tooling, cutting tools, or related manufacturing sales is strongly preferred
• Operations or shop floor experience is a significant plus. This role requires someone who understands how machines and materials work, not just someone who can give a presentation
• Proven ability to prospect, develop relationships, and close. Technical knowledge alone is not enough.
• Self-starter who manages their time well and doesn’t need to be pushed to pick up the phone
• Comfortable calling on manufacturing plants, machine shops, and production facilities
• Ability to learn the product line quickly and speak credibly to customers about their needs
• CRM experience preferred. Strong organizational habits required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required with the right combination of sales and industry experience
