Bilingual Youth Care Specialist

Position Overview Full‑time, hourly position in Enterprise, FL. Candidates must be fluent in English and Spanish. Night‑shift positions receive a $1.50 per hour differential. Maintain staff‑to‑resident ratio in accordance with agency policy. Ensure line‑of‑sight and sound supervision of DCF and ORR standards at all times. Maintain the order, safety, cleanliness of the facility, housekeeping, and adequate supervision of residents at all times. When no youth are present or unable to perform chores due to illness or quarantine, staff will complete cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, laundry, wiping down surface areas, window cleaning, cleaning bathrooms, youth bedrooms, collecting trash, and cleaning company vehicles. Plan and provide for safe transportation of youth to activities such as outings, court/legal appointments, meals out, medical appointments, etc. Consistently wear appropriate safety PPE when working with youth in quarantine or those awaiting test results, including those designated positive for infectious disease such as COVID‑19. Assist with preparing residents for airline travel, accompany residents to the airport as needed, and accompany residents on fly‑outs. Provide for the nutritional needs of the youth, including preparation of culturally sensitive meals according to approved dietary menu, and serve and clean up after meals. Administer and document medications as prescribed to youth efficiently. Promote effective communication and demonstrate the ability to receive, transmit, store, and retrieve information through timely documentation and compliance with logbook policy, as well as active participation in weekly unit meetings. Provide mandatory on‑call coverage as required. Perform all other job duties and responsibilities as assigned.
