Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and skilled Transportation Coordinator to join our team at Gallaway Health and Rehab in Gallaway, Tennessee. As a key member of our operations team, the Transportation Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of our residents to and from appointments, social events, and other activities. Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and schedule transportation for residents to and from appointments, social events, and other activities

• Manage and maintain accurate records of transportation requests and scheduling

• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies

• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to ensure transportation needs are met

• Troubleshoot transportation issues and find alternative solutions as needed

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of transportation services

• Maintain a clean and organized transportation department

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field preferred

• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant, and also CPR certified

• 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting or related field

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks

• Familiarity with electronic medical records and scheduling software preferred

• Ability to lift and transfer residents as needed (up to 50 pounds)
