Locum Tenens OB Hospitalist Physician

Position Type: Locum Tenens
Specialty: Physician - Hospitalist - OB
Location: Iowa
Rate: Open & Negotiable
Shift: 24 Hour In-House Call 7:00 AM 7:00 AM
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: Ongoing Coverage Dates Available

Position Details:
Patient Population: OB Patients
Setting: Acute Care Hospital / OBED
Responsibilities: Managing OBED patients, emergent OB cases, vaginal deliveries, C-sections, maternity transport support, and inpatient OB coverage
Required Procedures: OB Hospitalist Coverage, Vaginal Deliveries & C-Sections
EMR System: Epic
Support Staff: MFM On-Call Support & OB Team
Days Per Month: Approx. 6.5 Shifts Per Month
On-Call/Weekends: 24-Hour In-House Call Required

Submission Requirements:

Board Certified/Board Eligible in OB/GYN
Active Iowa License or IMLC Required
NPDB Self-Query Required at Submission
Provider Must Not Be Local to Des Moines Area
