Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: HealthTrust Program - Franciscan Alliance and no current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - Franciscan Alliance.

• 1 month gap required between for Per Diem at Program: HealthTrust Program - Franciscan Alliance and no current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - Franciscan Alliance.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - Level 3 NICU skills to be able to work in this unit proficiently. - Experience managing BiPAPs, ventilators, and heated high flow units; assisting with intubations and bedside bronchs.

Special Requests: - No travel pairs.

Unit Details: - Provides respiratory care in ICU/CCU, NICU, and emergency care settings. - Assignments use an RVU system. - Equipment includes PB vents, Drager V500, Aerogen units, V60 BiPAP, HHFNC, Hamilton C-transport, oscillator, jet, nitric, and bubble CPAP.

Shift & Scheduling: - No call. - Every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday).

5 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead references required

Driver’s license required for submission

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
