Job Description
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a detail-oriented Demand Planner to support inventory planning and forecasting efforts. The ideal candidate will analyze demand trends, maintain inventory levels, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure products are available to meet customer needs. This role is critical in balancing supply and demand while supporting operational efficiency.
Compensation: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Responsibilities
- Monitor inventory levels and demand forecasts.
- Analyze sales trends and historical data to support planning decisions.
- Coordinate with purchasing, production, and logistics teams.
- Maintain accurate inventory and planning records.
- Identify potential supply shortages or excess inventory.
- Generate reports and provide recommendations to improve inventory performance.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain process.
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous experience in demand planning, inventory control, supply chain, or a related field preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other business systems.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Pass a background and drug screening
