Customer service specialist

Seeking a reliable, customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team in South Plainfield, NJ. In this role, you will act as the primary point of contact for our retail clients, wholesale partners, and direct consumers. You will respond to inquiries regarding product setup, warranty claims, order status, and troubleshooting for our holiday decor and home product lines.

salary: $18 - $20 per hour

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Support: Answer inbound calls, reply to email inquiries, and address live chats in a polite, efficient, and professional manner.
• Product Troubleshooting: Assist customers with product assembly, lighting system troubleshooting (e.g., pre-lit tree configurations), and replacement parts guidance.
• Order Management: Process replacement orders, track shipping/delivery updates, and facilitate returns or warranty replacements in accordance with company policies.
• Issue Resolution: Investigate customer complaints, identify root causes, and provide appropriate solutions or escalation to management.
• Record Keeping: Document all customer interactions, notes, and resolution statuses within the CRM / customer tracking software.
• Cross-Department Collaboration: Work with warehouse staff and sales reps at the South Plainfield site to ensure timely order dispatch and fulfillment accuracy.
