MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Security Administrator to join our team in Herndon VA.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Manage the complete lifecycle of badge requests, from initial intake through timely processing, documentation, and fulfillment.
• Maintain accurate and secure facility access by creating, modifying, and terminating records within the access control system.
• Develop and manage badge templates to ensure brand consistency and adherence to security protocols.
• Oversee in-person badge scheduling and onsite printing.
• Conduct routine database maintenance, including database cleanups and security audits, to ensure system integrity and compliance with organizational standards and security policies.
• Performing fingerprinting and citizenship verifications.
• Manage security mailbox, professionally triaging and resolving all inquiries and requests and perform a variety of administrative/clerical support functions in support of Corporate Security.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma and 2+ years of experience in Security related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Google Applications.
• Ability to interpret and follow specific written and oral instructions to meet deadlines.
• Demonstrate experience in Personnel Security (PERSEC) or a comparable administrative role with a strong focus on compliance.
• Skilled in using security systems, including Defense Information Security System (DISS).
• Ability to conduct thorough and precise weekly audits, analyzing data and running queries to identify even minor discrepancies within large datasets.

Clearance Requirements:

• Must have an active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
• Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery.
• Frequently communicates with executive leadership, co-workers, and government stakeholders, including preparing and delivering formal presentations; must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

The projected compensation range for this position is $46,600.00-$77,200.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
