• Salary Range: $145,000–$175,000 annually (depending on qualifications, experience) +Benefits

Position Summary

We are seeking a qualified, compassionate, and patient-focused Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to provide comprehensive primary care services in East Los Angeles, California.

The successful candidate will collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to assess, diagnose, and manage patients' healthcare needs across a diverse patient population. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to recognize conditions requiring physician consultation or additional intervention.

Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills are required for effective patient education and care coordination.

-> Key Responsibilities

• Obtain comprehensive medical histories and perform physical examinations.
• Assess patients' health concerns and develop appropriate treatment plans within the provider's scope of practice.
• Perform or assist with routine laboratory testing, preventive screenings, and other clinical procedures as appropriate.
• Order and interpret routine diagnostic tests within applicable licensure and practice requirements.
• Identify complex or urgent medical conditions requiring physician consultation or referral.
• Educate patients on preventive healthcare, treatment options, medication use, and ongoing health management.
• Provide culturally responsive care to patients from diverse backgrounds.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with applicable regulations and organizational policies.

-> Required Qualifications

• Active California license and appropriate certification to practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• Active DEA registration, as applicable to the position and prescribing responsibilities.
• Professional liability/malpractice insurance meeting employer requirements.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to recognize clinical conditions requiring physician consultation or additional care.

• Valid California driver's license.
• Reliable transportation.
• Valid automobile insurance.
• Successful completion of a background check.
• Current documentation of required vaccinations and immunizations, subject to applicable policies and exemptions.

-> Required immunization documentation may include:

• Tuberculosis (TB) screening.
• Measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR).
• Tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis (Tdap).
• Influenza.
• COVID-19, in accordance with applicable employer policies.
