Senior Data Engineer (Python) - Remote

We are sourcing a Senior Data Engineer with Application DBA Expertise to work at our client's location.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring:

~ Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
~8+ years of experience in data engineering, database development, or database administration.
~ Strong hands-on experience with Oracle PL/SQL development , including packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and complex SQL.
~ Strong experience with SQL performance tuning, query optimization, indexing, partitioning, and execution plans .
~ Familiarity with modern data stack tools (dbt, Airflow, etc.)
~ Application DBA background supporting Oracle database performance, troubleshooting, maintenance, and reliability.
~ Experience developing ETL workflows using Informatica .
~ Strong understanding of data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and normalized data models.
~ Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
~ Experience with Snowflake, Oracle Analytics Server, Python, and MongoDB .
~ Experience supporting enterprise data platforms and high-volume transactional systems.
~ Knowledge of CI/CD, data quality, governance, lineage, and cloud platforms is preferred.
~ This role is primarily focused on PL/SQL engineering and development , with supporting responsibilities in Oracle database tuning and Informatica ETL .
