Complete patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on department standards and interdisciplinary goals Implement therapeutic recreation programs, including group activities, to promote physical, emotional, and social progress Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting care plans as needed Educate patients and families on recreational activities and recovery support Adapt environments and activities to meet patient needs and enhance outcomes Accurately document patient care, treatments, and progress in accordance with department standards Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, participate in patient care meetings, and support discharge planning Provide training and education to staff, students, and volunteers Participate in departmental initiatives, process improvements, and ongoing education Support multiple clinical areas and assist with additional duties or projects as needed What Sets BRG Apart At Baton Rouge General, we are a community of compassionate, caring individuals who set the bar when it comes to healthcare excellence.
