Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: Computed Tomography Specialty: CT Technologist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Mix of 8's and 12's, Weekend and holiday rotation Hours per Shift: 40 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active Illinois Radiology License Certifications:
- Radiology Registration
- IEMA License in Radiography, Clienttion Therapy, or Nuclear Medicine
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) Registry
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Must-Have:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail Description:
The Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist provides patient-centered service as an imaging technologist in Computed Tomography. Under the direction of the radiologist, the CT Technologist performs CT exams and procedures with minimal supervision, at a technical level. The CT Technologist administers ionizing radiation for adequate diagnostic quality while adhering to ALARA guidelines. They ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements in providing safe and appropriate care.
Education qualification includes being a graduate of a JRCERT accredited school of Radiology. Preferred qualifications include being a graduate of a CT certification program and holding CT Certification.
