This facility provides comprehensive surgical services with a manageable OR volume and a collaborative clinical environment. The hospital maintains a small MD/CRNA team focused on quality patient care delivery across multiple surgical specialties. Credentialing for this position carries an approximate timeframe of 90 days.

Denton offers a range of attractions suited to diverse interests, including a historic courthouse square, museums, and a natural heritage center. The city is home to a craft beer district and a notable live music scene, with additional recreational options such as golf, kayaking, and scavenger hunts available throughout the area. Visitors may also explore independent bookstores, local murals, and various community landmarks.

Clinicians in this role will provide anesthesia services under a medical direction model with 100% hands-on MD involvement during day shifts, working four 10-hour shifts per week for a total of 40 guaranteed hours. The surgical case mix includes general, orthopedic, vascular, gynecology, and GI procedures; OB cases, blocks, spinals, and epidurals are excluded from this assignment. No call coverage is required for this locum tenens engagement. Board certification, ACLS certification, an active state license, and a minimum of 2 years of experience are required for all clinicians considered for this role.
