Carolinas Staffing is looking for a Long-Term Temporary Water Meter Reader in Bolivia, NC!

Some experience with public utilities or maintenance is preferred but not required.

Duties:

Go out and read water meters throughout Brunswick County.
Identify the correct meter/location
Confirm the account matches the disconnect order
Turn off the water at the meter (often using a curb stop key)
Record the final meter reading
Tag or document the shutoff

Requirements:

Drive county vehicle
Must Be able to walk from property to property, bending, and working outside.
Pre-Employment Testing: National Background, Drug Test, MVR, and possess an Active NC DL.

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Hours: 8:00am to 5:00pm (1 hr lunch)
Rate of Pay: $15.00/hr

Job Types: Temporary, Full-time
