New State of the Art Critical Care Tower Opening in October
Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department using the nursing process. Collaborate with the healthcare team administer medications assist with procedures and respond to emergencies. May serve as charge nurse or preceptor. Care includes patients of all ages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe evidence-based nursing care and maintain accurate records.
- Administer IV/oral medications per hospital standards.
- Support tests procedures and emergency interventions.
- Educate patients and families plan discharges.
- Precept and support new staff as assigned.
- Maintain a safe therapeutic environment and follow patient safety protocols.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- RN license (NM or compact state).
- CPR/BLS within 30 days.
- ACLS within 6 months.
Preferred:
- Bachelors degree in Nursing.
- Specialty certification.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish).
Work Conditions:
- Heavy lifting (up to 100 lbs).
- Exposure to chemicals/biohazards (PPE required).
