Built on a legacy of craft, quality, and authenticity, our products are known for their timeless design and enduring stories.As the Associate Costing Analyst, you will support the Development Costing Engineer and Pendleton's product creation process by gathering, organizing, and maintaining the cost data that keeps development and production ordering accurate, on time, and aligned to margin goals across Apparel, Home, and Accessories.This is a hands-on, detail-driven role and a strong foundation for growing into a costing career, with exposure to cost engineering, vendor partnerships, and the financial side of heritage product development.What You'll DoCost Data Collection & Tracker ManagementGather and organize FOB and DDP costs from vendors and internal partners for all styles across Apparel, Home, and AccessoriesFollow up with vendors and cross-functional partners to obtain missing, outdated, or unclear cost information in a timely mannerMaintain the costing tracker, keeping style-level costs, status, and revision history accurate and up to date as costs change throughout developmentReview incoming cost information for accuracy and completeness, and flag variances, discrepancies, or questions to the Development Costing EngineerCost Sheets & Production OrderingBuild and maintain Cost Sheets in BlueCherry for Production Ordering, ensuring all cost components are complete and accurate before orders are releasedTrack costing milestones against the seasonal development and production ordering calendars, and communicate status and open items to the teamSupport the accurate transfer of approved costs between development records, the costing tracker, and BlueCherryCost Analysis & Cross-Functional PartnershipSupport the Development Costing Engineer with style-level cost analysis, including tracking costs against targets and highlighting risks earlyPartner with Product Development and Sourcing to confirm styles, construction details, and vendor assignments that affect costAct as a collaborative, reliable partner across cross-functional teams, modeling professionalism, respect, and inclusionProcess ImprovementContribute to the refinement of costing tools, templates, and processes that improve accuracy and efficiencyParticipate in special projects and process improvement initiatives related to costing and development efficiencyKey Performance IndicatorsCosting Tracker Accuracy and TimelinessFOB/DDP Data CompletenessOn-time Cost Sheet Completion for Production OrderingWhat You Bring1–3 years of experience in costing, product development, sourcing, merchandising, or a related analytical role in apparel, home, or soft goodsWorking understanding of FOB and DDP terms and basic landed cost concepts preferredFamiliarity with apparel/home/accessories construction and materials a plusStrong analytical and data management skillsProficiency with Microsoft Excel, including formulas, lookups, and data organization; strong competency with Word, Outlook, and PowerPointExperience with ERP systems preferred; BlueCherry experience a plusWorking knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems a plusHighly detail-oriented and organized, with a commitment to accuracy and data integrity and the ability to manage multiple styles, vendors, and timelines simultaneouslyProactive follow-up and a persistent, solutions-oriented approach to closing information gapsStrong collaboration and interpersonal skills, comfortable working with vendors and partners across multiple teamsClear and concise written and verbal communication skillsCuriosity and willingness to quickly learn and adapt to new software, tools, processes, and product categoriesPassion for quality product and appreciation for Pendleton's history, values, and commitment to craftsmanshipBachelor's degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, Apparel Design, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experienceBenefits & PerksAt Pendleton, we believe taking care of our people is just as important as taking care of our business.
