Quality Technician

Perform all materials and product testing and inspection procedures, including Level 2 liquid penetrant certification testing under UV-A (365 nm) black light Ensure high levels of internal & external customer service Write brief reports summarizing test results Develop familiarity with all quality requirements and manufacturing processes across the site Coordinate multiple activities and tests concurrently Conduct investigations and implement corrective actions related to quality including Preventive and Corrective Action requests Uphold high levels of quality standards, inspection processes, and process improvement Assist in process certification Report out quality issues, trends and losses Actively participate in internal and external audits Support engineering efforts through participation in design development projects representing quality assurance and the customer Requirements High school graduate or equivalent 3-5 years minimum experience in a quality lab Ability to pass an initial and annual eye exam in both vision and color capacities Ability to acclimate your eyes to inspect in a dark room under UV-A light Access to CUI (controlled unclassified information) Individual must be a Citizen of the United States, or Permanent resident alien of the United States, or Protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) (22 CFR §120.15.)
