Responsibilities

• Assist the Lead Teacher in implementing curriculum and daily classroom activities
• Support children's learning through play, exploration, and hands-on experiences
• Maintain a consistent daily schedule, including meals, nap time, outdoor play, and educational activities
• Help children develop social skills and resolve conflicts in positive, age-appropriate ways
• Create a warm, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment
• Maintain open, respectful communication with co-workers and families
• Ensure classrooms remain safe, clean, organized, and healthy throughout the day

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Previous childcare experience preferred
• Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate practices
• Understanding of classroom health, safety, and sanitation requirements
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Positive attitude, dependable work ethic, and passion for working with children
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
