(One Saturday shift required every other month)The Mammography Technologist operates x-ray equipment and performs a variety of mammography-related diagnostic procedures. Individual must maintain a high degree of accuracy in positioning and exposure technique.Department/Center HighlightsExcellent customer survey results!Patient-Focused TeamCohesive and Friendly EnvironmentSupportive and Encouraging AtmosphereHere is what you will need:Texas Medical Board License - TMBCurrent ARRT in Mammography certification or eligible to take advanced level exam with documentation of clinical experience.Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic TechnologyContinuing Education: MQSA/FDA - 15 CEU's every 3 years, 200-documented case numbers every 2 years.Experience with diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies is preferred.A Day in the Life of a Mammography Technologist:Provide services and support for the following areas:Completion of a formal radiologic technology training program and hold current certification by ARRT in Radiography;ARRT advanced level certification in mammography with documentation of clinical experience, orMQSA qualified and (M) registry eligible;Current on all required continuing education and continuing experience as required by MQSA and ARRT;High School Diploma; Associates degree preferred;Must possess non-restricted licensure in state work location;Knowledge of database software, RIS/PACS software is preferred;Two years of experience in mammography is preferred;Experience with diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies is preferred;Prior quality control experience preferred;Ability to read, write, and comprehend medical terminology;Why Solis Mammography?A Great Place to Work, earning this prestigious award for multiple years running.Offer competitive benefits such as Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, PTO, Paid Holidays, Backup Child/Adult Care as well as other unique benefits.*Sign-On Bonus is applicable to current qualified Mammography Technologists (ARRT (M)).
