Job Summary:

The Technical Services - DocuCare serves as the primary customer contact for equipment support and service activities. This role is responsible for break-fix support, device management, consumables management, printer configuration, and customer training. The position supports both Client and non-Client devices, provides remote and onsite troubleshooting, and ensures efficient delivery of services while maintaining strong customer relationships. Approximately 70% of responsibilities involve break-fix activities and equipment issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary customer contact for equipment support and service activities
• Coordinate Move/Add/Change (MAC) processes
• Provide end-user training on equipment operation and usage
• Perform basic device cleaning and replacement of operator-accessible parts and consumables
• Diagnose and resolve basic equipment issues and break-fix problems
• Provide IP address support and network-related assistance
• Coordinate equipment delivery and removal activities
• Initiate service requests with Client and third-party vendors as required
• Utilize Client web-based applications and Service Call Handling tools
• Maintain accurate call reporting and activity documentation in Client systems
• Download and install printer drivers on end-user devices
• Perform printer mapping and configuration on PCs
• Escalate printer network issues to appropriate support resources
• Manage devices both remotely and onsite
• Configure devices, including IP addresses, scanning templates, user access levels, and scan-to-file/email settings
• Monitor and apply software updates and patches
• Support remote service resolutions requiring onsite technical assistance
• Manage non-Client devices when required
• Perform remote device monitoring and troubleshooting
• Identify opportunities to promote Client Office Solutions
• Manage consumables and supplies inventory using the DOS calculator
• Maintain onsite operator-replaceable parts inventory
• Collect equipment meter readings and submit data for billing purposes
• Perform asset tracking and data entry activities
• Manage onsite inventory through PM4 systems

Required Skills:

• Customer service and communication skills
• Basic equipment troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
• Experience resolving printer and equipment issues
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Customer issue resolution and escalation management
• Coordination of work activities to meet service requirements
• Data entry and reporting skills
• Knowledge of printer driver installation and printer mapping
• Remote device management and support experience
• Ability to read, write, and follow basic English instructions
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
