Key Responsibilities- Work shifts on Tuesdays and Thursdays for 8 hours, Mondays and Wednesdays for 8 hours, and Fridays for 5 hours.
- Provide care to adults in a county jail and adolescents in a juvenile detention facility.
- Operate within a correctional healthcare environment, including jails and juvenile detention centers.
- Stabilize patients within the first 24 hours of their incarceration.
- Manage medication withdrawal and acute psychiatric stabilization.
- Hospital privileges are mandatory.
- Preferred experience in emergency psychiatry or crisis stabilization.
- Comfortable working in a correctional healthcare setting.
Hourly rates range from $185.00 to $220.00 . These figures are estimates and may vary based on factors such as the urgency of the position, your experience, and qualifications. The rates are all-inclusive, combining base pay with potential additional earnings like overtime, call, and holiday pay. For specific details, please consult your recruiter.
