About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP of Product Marketing to lead the product marketing function. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing a robust product positioning strategy that resonates with customer pain points, desired outcomes, and jobs to be done. This role is pivotal in driving self-service and sales-led growth by effectively meeting customer needs. The VP of Product Marketing will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, sales, customer service, and marketing, to build a world-class product marketing framework, own product launches, and ensure sales and customer service teams are well-equipped. Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in product marketing, with at least one year specifically targeting an engineering audience, and at least one year at an executive level. The role requires an individual with an impeccable communication style, both internally and externally, and a proven track record in team management. Startup experience is a plus, as is experience in other areas of marketing, sales, or customer service. The VP of Product Marketing will be expected to make a significant impact within the first 90 days, both qualitatively and quantitatively, and to lead the team in laying the foundations for future positioning, messaging, packaging, and pricing work.
