About the Job

InteriorWorx Commercial Flooring is a contractor with over 25 years of service throughout the Valley. We serve a wide range of industries, including multi-family and build to rent housing projects. We are seeking an experienced full-time Estimator . This role will be responsible for preparing estimates for construction projects.

Primary Responsibilities:

Review construction documents and assess scope of work.
Prepare quantity take-offs and estimates of probable costs of material and labor for construction projects based on construction documents, contract bids, quotations, design or schematic drawings and specifications.
Identify any omissions or inaccuracies in plans received from architect.
Maintain estimating computer files, including bid documents and plans.

Requirements:

3 years experience in estimating required.
Build to rent or multi-family flooring experience and thorough knowledge of all types of floor covering materials are required.
Proficient with estimating software; RFMS Measure experience is a plus.
Must have proven high skill level to interpret blueprints and other project documents, including but not limited to, specifications, reporting and quality requirements.
Proficient with MS Office software.
Must be able to manage multiple projects/estimates and present a high level of organization while meeting bid deadlines.
Must be self-motivated and positive.
Must be able to understand and write change orders as needed.
Strong computer and writing skills.
References required.

Willing to consider a junior estimator/trainee with strong technical college background and experience reading blueprints that is computer literate and learns fast.
