RN - Emergency Department

This is a contract position for an RN in the Emergency Department. The position is for 13 weeks, with shifts from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM. No on-call requirements are needed. The unit consists of 23 beds and typically has a staff of 40 members. Day shift includes 1 charge nurse, 5 RNs, 1 paramedic, and 1 patient care technician. Midshift staffing fluctuates based on patient volume. Night shift includes 1 charge nurse, 5 RNs, 1 paramedic, and 1 patient care technician. Patient ratios are 4:1. Typical procedures performed include cardioversion, TNK, and moderate sedation. Candidates should be team players who are flexible and have a positive demeanor. Uniforms consist of navy blue scrubs.
