Our clinic provides a comprehensive range of services from preventive care and diagnostics to surgery and cold laser therapy. Position Overview Join our team as a Part‑Time Veterinarian with predictable hours, a consistent home hospital assignment, and flexibility. This role allows you to stay clinically engaged while maintaining balance, connection, and continuity of care. Compensation for part‑time roles is prorated based on experience and hours worked; the salary ranges listed reflect full‑time roles. Key Responsibilities Comprehensive patient exams and medical work‑ups Client communication and education Performing diagnostic procedures and surgery Maintaining accurate medical records Managing pharmacy duties, including prescribing medications and following controlled‑substance protocols Promoting teamwork and staff efficiency Collaborating with the Hospital Manager on weekly priorities and expectations Evaluating and monitoring protocols for hospital operations from intake to discharge Monitoring cases and attending daily rounds to uphold high standards Participating in practice management updates and training at all levels Performing other duties as assigned by management Qualifications (Required) Veterinarian degree (DVM or VMD) from an accredited college or university Current State Veterinary License DEA registration maintained At least 1 year of experience in a veterinary practice Strong diagnostic and clinical skills Excellent surgical and dental skills Ability to work well in a team‑oriented environment Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills Commitment to providing compassionate and high‑quality veterinary care Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks when required Preferred Skills (Nice to Have) Demonstrated clinical knowledge across examination and assessment of animals Problem‑solving skills for high‑quality veterinary hospital management Effective communication of diagnostic and therapeutic options to clients and staff Professionalism and constructive feedback within a veterinary team Business acumen regarding veterinary hospital finances Knowledge of ethical principles guiding patient care Commitment to continuing education and facilitating learning for others Benefits Signing and retention incentives up to $50,000 Competitive salary and production bonus—no negative accrual option CE stipend Licensing and dues reimbursement Emotional wellbeing support, including Calm app access and 24/7 EAP A supportive home hospital environment backed by national resources and a Culture of Care Pay Range
