Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 8 hours (7a-7p) Experience: 2+ years in Community Adult and Pediatric Emergency Room License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (Must be from the American Heart Association) Must-Have: - 2+ years of experience in a community adult and pediatric emergency room - Availability for day shifts from 7a-7p - Ability to work variable weekends (5-6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule) - Willingness to work 1 major holiday and 1 minor holiday Description: BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required. The team operates in a busy emergency room environment that serves as a stroke center. We see a diverse range of patients and conditions in this community ER. Staff ratios are typically 4:1, but may stretch to 5:1 during peak census times. No on-call shifts are required, but staff can choose to pick them up if they wish. The environment is supported by a phenomenal and hardworking team. Scrubs are navy blue. Epic access is required.
