Stegall Mechanical is seeking an experienced HVAC Construction Foreman to lead commercial HVAC construction projects. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can manage crews and subcontractors, read mechanical plan, coordinate with other trades, maintain production schedules, and keep the jobsite safe and organized.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and supervise HVAC installers and helpers
• Lean and coordinate HVAC crews and subcontractors, ensuring work is completed safely, correctly, and according to the project schedule
• Coordinate subcontractor manpower, work areas, scheduling, quality and safety requirements
• Read and understand mechanical plans and specifications
• Ly out ductwork, equipment, piping and HVAC systems
• Plan daily work with General Contractors and other trades
• Monitor project schedule and material needs
• Communicate job progress and issues with the Project Manager
• Identify field conflicts and potential change-order work
• Maintain quality workmanship and minimize rework
• Enforce company and jobsite safety requirements
• Ensure proper PPE and safe work practices are followed
• Conduct safety meetings and toolbox talks as required
• Assist with inspections, startup, punch lists and project closeouts

QUALIFICATIONS

• Commercial HVAC construction experience required
• Foreman or Lead Mechanic experience preferred
• Experience supervising crews and coordinating subcontractors preferred
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and specifications
• Strong HVAC installation and layout knowledge
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to manage crews and maintain job productivity
• Strong commitment to jobsite safety
• Valid driver's license
