About the Position

Job Title: Emergency Room Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: ER RN Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 12H Evenings Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in an ER setting License: Current RN license in Indiana or Compact License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, ENPC, TNCC Must-Have: - Minimum of 2 years experience in an ER setting - BLS (AHA only) required - ACLS (AHA only) required - PALS required - ENPC required - TNCC required Description: The position requires providing emergency care to patients of all ages. Responsibilities include triage, prioritization, ACLS, PALS, and emergent life-saving interventions. Equipment utilized includes computerized charting systems, cardiac monitors, and basic life-saving equipment. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 4 patients to 1 nurse. There is an expectation of working three 12-hour shifts per week, with every other weekend and holiday coverage. The dress code is Caribbean Blue. Orientation and training will be provided as necessary. Floating to other departments is not required. This position involves a commitment to providing quality care in a fast-paced environment.
